Team Kenya went to missions boot camp last weekend. We spent time at a retreat center in the woods near Lebanon, PA. We joined with about sixty other VFCC students and leaders who are all preparing to go on missions trips this semester. Boot camp is a retreat designed to inspire and train missions team participants. We spent time in prayer, worship, training, team building activities and fun.
Team Kenya will be traveling to Nairobi on March 3, 2011. There, we will minister along side of veteran missionary to children, Jay Risner. Please continue to pray for this upcoming missions experience.

ReplyDeleteSuch a good trip! I really did feel more of a connection to our team through the games and prayer time. God is going to do awesome things during our trip and I cannot wait to see how He is going to use us all!
